Join Ptarmigan Theatrics for a taste of Shakespeare in the Summer. This is a general call out for interested actors to take part in a Table Read of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the end of June.
What is involved?
Show up twice a week (days tbd) to rehearse and then to the table read at the end of the month. This process will be very actor-centric with a focus on play and fun. Try different characters, play around with voices and delivery, get together with a group of likeminded individuals and just have fun together. Then share what we’ve worked on with the general public in a by-donation table read.
Why and Where
Why? Because we love Shakespeare and want to have some fun
Where? To take advantage of the summer weather we will be trying to do as many rehearsals outdoors in the park on 49A Avenue across from 4216 49A Avenue. The Ptarmigan Ptheatrics studio will be available in case of bad weather.
